Review April's Flea Market - Reseña del Mercado de Pulgas en Abril

     El pasado 4 de mayo, Plaza Catedral fue el marco del Mercado de Pulgas, donde podías  encontrar las mejores ofertas sacadas del fondo de los mejores baúles de la ciudad.
El país invitado fue Holanda, cuya presencia estuvo marcada por sus deliciosos quesos y curiosos zapatos de madera.

     En los alrededores se encontraba todo tipo de ofertas, desde los mejores recuerdos de vinyl hasta los mas excéntricos vestidos africanos. En particular me llamo mucho la atención un pote con un retrato de Frida Kalho.

     Nuestros hermanos Holandeses, ofrecieron lo mejor de su país, con platos tradicionales de distintas regiones, y quesos con un sabor sin igual. También estuvieron presentes las mejores muestras de nuestros hermanos Ngobe Bugle y la increíble gastronomía brasileña.

     Photitos tuvo presencia en este evento con la exposición fotográfica “Mujer” que fue foco de atención de todos los presentes en medio de las atrayentes melodías del violín de nuestro amigo George Danvers y su acompañante.

     Jimara,  A. Echevers y JC Gibbs nuevamente cautivaron la mirada de la gente con la exposicion fotografica y muchos interesados se acercaron para conocer mas de estos talentosos jóvenes.

     Una nutrida muestra poética de los escritores Edilberto Gonzalez Trejos y Jose Luis Rodríguez Pitti, fueron complemento para esta velada cultural que mezcló expresiones, música y latir del corazón.

     Las estrechas calles de Casco Antiguo, fueron el mejor escenario para el Photowalk organizado por Photitos para los miembros de la comunidad y unas deliciosas boquitas de nuestros amigos de La Novena Restaurante, ofrecieron una increíble muestra gastronomica.

     Esta grata experiencia, nos permitió conocer un poco mas de otras culturas y también conocer personalmente a los chicos y chicas de la comunidad Photitos, quienes pasaron un agradable momento. Esperamos contar con su presencia en proximas actividades.










     Last May 4th, Plaza Cathedral was the frame of the Flea market, where you could find the best deals drawn from the bottom of the best trunks of the city. The invited country was Holland, whose presence was marked by its delicious cheeses and peculiar wood shoes.

     Around all over, you could find all type of deals, from the best memories of vinyl but to the eccentric African dresses. In particular I liked the most, a pote with a picture of Frida Kalho.

     Our Dutch brothers, offered the best thing of their country, with traditional plates from different regions, and cheeses with a flavor without equal. Also the best samples of our brothers Ngobe Bugle and the incredible Brazilian gastronomy were present.

     Photitos had presence in this event with the photographic exhibition “Woman” which captured the attention of all the presents in the middle of the attractive melodies of the violin from our friend George Danvers and his companion.

     Jimara, A. Echevers and JC Gibbs captured the glance of people with the photographic exhibition again, and many interested approached to know these talented young people. A nourished poetic sample of the writers Edilberto Gonzalez Trejos and Jose Luis Rodriguez Pitti, was complement for this cultural evening that mixed expressions, music and heartbeats.

     The narrow streets of Casco Antiguo, were the best scene for the Photowalk organized by Photitos for the members of the community, and delicious appetizers from our friends of La Novena Restaurant, offered an incredible gastronomic sample.

     This pleasing experience, allowed us to know a little more about other cultures and also gave us the opportunity to meet personally the boys and girls of Photitos community, who spent a pleasant moment. We hope to count with their presence for future activities.
